President, CA greet German President, Chancellor

President Iajuddin Ahmed and Chief Adviser (CA) Fakhruddin Ahmed have felicitated German President Horst Kohler and Chancellor Angela Merkel on the occasion of the day of German unity which falls on October 3, reports BSS.
"I take this opportunity to express my firm belief that the existing friendly relations between our two countries will be further deepened in the years to come," President Iajuddin said in his message sent to Horst on the eve of the day of German unity.
He also wished for the German President's good health, happiness and long life.
Fakhruddin in his message to Angela said," The government and the people of Bangladesh join me in conveying to you, and through you to the government and the people of the federal republic of Germany, our warmest greetings and felicitations on the auspicious occasion of the Day of German Unity".
"Bangladesh deeply values its relation with Germany. I am confident that the existing bonds of friendship between our two countries will be further strengthened in the days ahead," he wrote to the German Chancellor.
Fakhruddin wished for Angela Merkel's good health, happiness and long life, and continued peace, progress and well being of the people of the Federal Republic of Germany.
