President for modernising army

President Zillur Rahman asked the Army Chief of Staff General M Abdul Mubeen to initiate more training facilities to the army personnel for further modernisation of the force.
"Necessary steps are needed to be undertaken for further enhancing professional skill of the army," he said while Army Chief paying a call on him at Bangabhaban Wednesday, reports BSS.
During the call-on, the army chief apprised the President about his upcoming India visit.
The Bangladesh Army Chief will go to India on March 14 on a six-day visit on an invitation by his Indian counterpart.
The President expressed his hope that the India visit of Army Chief would increase the bilateral relations between the two friendly neighbouring countries.
