BEIJING, Nov 7 (UNB): President Abdul Hamid arrived here Friday to attend a dialogue on strengthening connectivity partnership at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
A regular flight of Singapore Airlines carrying the President landed at Beijing International Airport at 2.40 pm (China local time). The President was received by ambassador of Bangladesh to China M Fazlul Karim and protocol ambassador of China Chi Shi at the airport.
Later, the President was taken in a motorcade to Diaoyutai State Guest Hose where he will stay during the tour. Earlier, the President left Dhaka for Beijing at 11.55 pm (Bangladesh local time) Thursday.
During the tour, the President is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Myanmar President Thein Sein.
The President will go to Singapore from China on November 11 for medical treatment.
