President, PM greet Japanese counterparts

President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina have greeted their counterparts of Japan on the occasion of Japanese emperor Akihito's birthday that falls today (Wednesday), reports UNB.
In his message to Emperor Akihito, President Zillur Rahman expressed his confidence that the existing bond of friendship between the two countries would be further strengthened to the mutual benefit of the two peoples in the years ahead.
In another message to Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, the PM said Bangladesh and Japan have always enjoyed traditional and friendly relations.
