President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have greeted their Pakistani counterparts on the occasion of Pakistan Day that falls today (Monday), reports UNB.
In a message to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, Zillur Rahman said: "Bangladesh attaches high importance to its relation with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and looks forward to increasing cooperation in the areas of existing bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of the peoples of our two countries."
The Prime Minister, in her message to Pak Premier Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, said: "I look forward to working together to deepen the existing friendly relation and cooperation between the two countries in the day's ahead for the interest and well-being of our peoples."
