President, wife, host reception for Hindu community

On the occasion of Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindus, President Iajuddin Ahmed and his wife Dr Anwara Begum hosted a reception for the members of the Hindu community at Bangabhaban Sunday, reports UNB.
Diplomats, including the High Commissioner of India Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka Vadivel Krishna-moorty, Charge d' Affaires of the US Embassy Geeta Pasi, Military Attaché of Nepal, Hindu religious leaders, judges, high civil and military officials, and different professionals of the Hindu community attended the reception.
The president and his wife exchanged greetings and pleasantries with the guests and wished them a happy and prosperous future.
Religious Affairs Secretary M Ataur Rahman, Military Secretary to the President M Aminul Karim, Secretary M Sirajul Islam, Press Secretary Abdul Awal Howlader and concerned senior officials, among others, were present on the occasion.
