Prove what you want thru' indoor activities

Adviser for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Mainul Hosein said what political parties really want would have to be proved through their activities, now that the caretaker government (CG) conditionally allowed politics behind the doors.
The law adviser said this while briefing journalists at his ministry office in the city Monday, reports UNB.
"They (parties) have to give a test before the people through indoor politics and prove how responsible and correct they are", he said.
The adviser said the CG has outlined the parameter of indoor politics through a guideline. " It will be better to say explanation about indoor politics instead of conditions."
He said indoor politics was continuing, but there was no legal basis of that. Now it got legal framework through the gazette notification, he said.
To a question, Mainul said political leaders living outside Dhaka would have to come to the capital if they have anything to say.
"There is enough time for holding election. So, if someone from outside Dhaka wants to speak about politics he will have to come to Dhaka."
