Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has urged drivers of public transports across the country to remain cautious and follow proper rules on the highways to keep the Eid journey safe and sound for the homebound people, reports BSS.
"Thousands of people are going to their respective homes to observe Eid-ul-Azha with their loved ones. Because of newly-inaugurated Padma Bridge, more people from the country's southern and western regions have joined this Eid journey. I urge all the drivers of the public transport to drive their vehicles carefully," he said.
