HABIGANJ, Feb 12 (UNB): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an activist of banned Islamic outfit Jamaat-ul- Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Pikepara market in Sadar upazila on Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Md Mizanur Rahman, 40, son of late Maolana Sadullah of the Rangergaon area of the district.
On information, members of Sylhet Rab-9 conducted a drive in the area and arrested the JMB man who went hiding for long after a case was filed against him with Sadar Police Station, said Senior Assistant Police Super of Habiganj Mainuddin Chowdhury.
