PABNA, July 29 (UNB): Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered arms and ammunition in a raid and arrested three people from the residence of a local BNP leader at Baghal Thakurpara in Iswardi Upazila Sunday morning.
Acting on a tip-off, a RAB-1 team came from Dhaka and cordoned off the residence of BNP leader Shaheen at about 9:30am.
RAB arrested Shaheen and two of his associates and recovered four revolvers, 20 bullets and two motorcycles from the spot, the sources said.
