Opposition leader Raushon Ershad strongly condemned and protested Monday the indiscriminate killings of innocent Palestinian people, including women and children, by continued Israeli air-strikes and rocket fire on Gaza strip, reports UNB.
In a statement, she said: "The global community didn't expect such barbaric attacks in the month of fasting. We together with the people of the world are stunned by Israel's heinous attack on the Palestinian people."
The opposition leader urged the international community, including the United Nations and the OIC, to mount pressure on Israel to halt the military operation.
She also called upon the international community to come forward to save lives and property of Palestinian people.
Israel has continued its air-strikes and rocket fire on Gaza for the seventh consecutive day Monday, killing over 172 people since the offensive began last Tuesday.
