BENAPOLE, Sept 14 (UNB): An alleged ringleader was killed in a 'gunfight' with police at Aminpur village in Manirampur upazila of Jessore district early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Osman Sardar.
Khabir Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Manirampur thana, said police arrested Osman, who was wanted in seven cases, Saturday afternoon.
After interrogation, police along with Osman conducted a drive in the area for recovering firearms in the dead of night.
