Rizvi on 3-day fresh remand

A Dhaka court placed on Monday BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on a three-day fresh remand in connection with a case filed under the Explosive Substance Act, reports UNB.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Maruf Hossain passed the order rejecting the bail prayer of Rizvi's counsel Sanaullah Miah.

Mohammad Bashir Ahmed, sub-inspector of DB police and also the investigation officer of the case produced him before the court seeking a 10-day remand on expiry of his five-day remand in Jatrabari arson case.
