Sagar-Runi murder probe to continue until real culprits netted: Anisul

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq on Friday said the investigation into the journalist couple Sagar-Runi murder case will continue until the real criminals are identified and detained, reports BSS.

"I feel sad actually, even if I say something good for you, you take it differently. My earlier statement on giving time for probing the case is being presented differently. I talked about giving 50 years time for probe if necessary, in relative terms. I meant, we will bring to justice the people who have committed that crimes, we will detain them no matter how long it takes," he said.

The law minister said these while talking to newsmen in Akhaura, Brahmanbaria, on Friday morning. Akhaura Awami League president Mohammad Ali Chowdhury and general secretary and municipality mayor Takzil Khalifa were present on the occasion, among others, an official release says.
