Sajeda's son jailed for graft

A special court Sunday sentenced Shadab Akbar, son of Awami League presidium member Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, to 12 years' imprisonment in a graft case, reports UNB.
Judge M Abu Hanif of Special Court set up at the parliament building complex, also fined him Tk 10 lakh, in default, to suffer another year in prison.
