Dhaka court has placed ex-prime minister Sheikh Hasina's former private investment adviser Salman F Rahman, ex-law minister Aniusl Haq and two others on a 4-day remand each in a murder case, reports UNB.
Judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate GM Farhan Ishtiaq passed the order on Monday after hearing a petition, said the court's public prosecutor Omar Faruk Faruki.
The other accused are former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and Trinomul BNP's former president Shamser Mobin Chowdhury.
The defendants' lawyer prayed for bail but the court rejected it. According to the case statement, one Parvez Mia sustained bullet injuries in an attack in the capital’s Jatrabari area on August 5 last year.
