Salman, Atiqul shown arrested in murder case

A Dhaka court has showed Salman F Rahman, former private industry affairs adviser to the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and former Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam arrested in a murder case lodged with the city's Bhatara Police Station.

The court also showed former senior secretary of Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mohibul Haque arrested in an attempted murder case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Awlad Hossain Muhammad Zunaid passed the orders on Wednesday as police produced the three before the court and pleaded to show them arrested in the cases.
