Samrat gets bail in two cases

A Dhaka court granted bail to Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat, an ex-Jubo League leader, in two cases filed against him under the Arms as well as Money Laundering acts, reports BSS.

Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Faisal Atiq bin Quader Sunday granted the bail in the arms case, and Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain granted his bail in the money laundering case.

Samrat's Lawyer Ehsanul Haque Samaji told the agency that Samrat would not be released now as he was accused in a drug case and another case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission.
