Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samity ((PCJSS)) president Santu Larma said Tuesday the government had signed Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Peace Accord merely to disarm the people of the hill tracts, and threatened a non-cooperation movement from May 2015, unless the government shows sincerity regarding actual implementation of the accord, reports UNB.
"The government didn't keep its promise as it didn't implement the peace treaty. Moreover, presently the government's version on the implementation of the accord is not true," Santu Larma, also the chairman of CHT Regional Council, came up with the remarks while addressing a discussion at a city hotel marking the 17th anniversary of the peace treaty.
