SC dismisses Ghulam Azam\\\'s appeal case

The Appellate Division has dismissed the trial proceedings of war criminal Ghulam Azam following his death in 2014, reports bdnews24.com.
A four-member Appellate Division bench headed by Chief Justice SK Sinha gave the order Tuesday.
Earlier, Jamaat-e-Islami ideologue Azam was sentenced to a 90-year jail term for his crimes during Bangladesh's Liberation War. But he died on Oct 23, 2014 after serving a year in prison at the age of 92.
