SC upholds AL MP Bodi\\\'s HC bail

The Supreme Court (SC) upheld the High Court (HC) order Wednesday granting bail to Awami League (AL) MP Abdur Rahman Bodi in a case filed on charge of accumulating wealth illegally, reports UNB.

Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division Hasan Foez Siddique passed the order after hearing a petition filed by the Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) seeking a stay on the HC bail.

On Tuesday, the ACC filed the petition with the SC seeking a stay on the bail granted by the HC to the ruling party MP.
