SC upholds bail for Goyeshwar

The Appellate Division (AD) of the Supreme Court (SC) upheld on Thursday a High Court (HC) order granting bail to BNP Standing Committee member Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, reports BSS.
A four-member AD panel led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order, rejecting a plea by the state.
Earlier on May 6, the HC granted Goyeshwar an interim bail in the case lodged for carrying out subversive acts.
