Sec 144 imposed in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, Jan 7 (UNB): Local administration on Saturday afternoon imposed section 144 at Ananda Bazar and Nayakandi crossing, situated side by side, in Karimganj as two rival factions of the Awami League (AL) called separate meetings at the adjacent venues same time.
Locals said Karimganj Upazila AL convener Nasirul Islam Khan Awlad called a conference of AL Ward No 6, 7, 8 and 9 units at Ananda Bazar in the afternoon.
