Sedition case filed against Dr Tuhin Malik

A metropolitan magistrate court here asked Shahbagh Police Station Tuesday to deem the two petition cases filed against Dr Tuhin Malik, a Supreme Court (SC) lawyer, on alleged offences of sedition and hurting religious sentiments, as the FIRs (First Information Report) after investigation subject to approval of the state, reports UNB.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Hasibul Huq passed the order upon the two petitions filed by Ghulam Rabbani, deputy international secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).
