A Dhaka court has rejected a sedition complaint against BNP Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman, reports bdnews24.com.
Bangabandhu Foundation's chief Moshiur Malek had filed the complaint with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on Sunday. Judge Asaduzzaman Nur scrapped the plea after recording the plaintiff's testimony.
Tarique, eldest son of BNP chief Khaleda Zia, had allegedly dubbed Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman a 'friend of Pakistan' on Sept 29 at a programme in London.
