Seven gamblers held in Barguna

BARGUNA, June 26 (UNB): Detectives arrested seven alleged gamblers from a hotel in the district town on Friday noon.
The arrestees were identified as Panu Sharif, Jahangir Hawlader, Sajib Mollah, Jasim Hawlader, Shahjahan Hawlader, Jasim and Yeasin Panchayet.
Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch of police conducted a drive at Purnima Hotel on Madrasah road at noon and arrested the seven gamblers, said DB sub-inspector (SI) Abu Zafar.
