Shaheed Selim-Delwar Day today

Shaheed Selim-Delwar Day will be observed in the country today (Wednesday), recalling their sacrifice as they lost their lives in an anti-authoritarian movement on February 27 in 1984, reports BSS.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina issued separate messages, paying profound respect to the memory of Shaheed Selim and Delwar on the occasion of their 40th martyrdom anniversary to be observed today.
