Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan called upon all on Sunder the freedom fighters and pro-liberation forces to work in unison for the Awami League (AL) nominated candidates to continue the development works being carried out by the present government, reports BSS.
"Please work collectively for the AL candidates (in the elections) to continue the huge development works being carried out by the AL government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," he requested the freedom fighters at a meeting at Swadhinata Bhaban of Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) at Segun Bagicha here.
The minister asked all to remain alert as anti-liberation forces have been hatching conspiracy to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and destroy all the achievements of AL.
