Sheikh Hasina takes BD to a new height of development: Humayun

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on Monday said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was an institution of world politics and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the most accomplished student of that institution, reports BSS.

"Embracing the philosophy and consciousness of Bangabandhu's economic liberation, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken Bangladesh to a new height of development in a short span of time. As a result of her visionary leadership, Bangladesh's success in tackling the Corona epidemic has caught the eye of the world community," he said.

The industries minister made the remarks while speaking at a discussion and doa mahfil organised by the Industries Ministry on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's happy birthday.

State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder was the special guest while Industries Secretary KM Ali Azam presided over the meeting.

Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman Md Mostafizur Rahman, additional secretaries of the Industries Ministry Salahuddin Mahmud and Md Helal Uddin, among others, spoke on the occasion.
