Shibir calls strike at RU today

RAJSHAHI, Jun 25 (UNB): The Rajshahi University (RU) unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) will enforce a strike on the campus Thursday demanding immediate arrest of those involved in chopping off one of the legs of a Shibir leader on June 16.
Farhad Reza, publicity secretary of RU unit Shibir, announced the programme Wednesday.
Reza vowed to resist classes, examinations and the plying of university vehicles during the strike.
