Shibir leader rrested in angamati

RANGAMATI, Oct 6 (UNB): Police arrested Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS)'s district unit president Abdus Salam from a shop at Longdu Upazila Sadar Tuesday midnight.
Being tipped off that Salam along with a group of ICS activists was holding an organisational meeting at a shop owned by a local Jama'at leader Siraj, police conducted a drive at the area and held him.
Other ICS activists managed to flee.
Salam was produced before a court which sent him to jail Wednesday.
