Sirajganj district unit of Awami League (AL) President Abdul Latif Biswas and acting general secretary Dr Md Habib Millat have been suspended from their respective positions, reports BSS.
In line with the constitution of AL, the party's central working committee took the decision, said a press release signed by AL office secretary Barrister Biplob Barua on Sunday.
Sirajganj district AL's vice president Ad KM Hosain Ali (Hassain) and joint general secretary Abdus Samad Talukder have been made acting president and acting general secretary of the unit respectively.
