Six on remand for attack on Balaka sculpture

Six Ulema Anjumane Al Bayenat activists, who were arrested while vandalising the 'Balaka' sculpture in Motijheel, were taken on two-day remand Thursday, reports bdnews24.com.
Metropolitan judge AKM Emdad granted the remand plea of investigation officer SI Jamal Uddin.
The accused were Mostaq Ahmed Chowdhury, Arafat Hossain, Ziaur Rahman, Hasibul Islam, Abdul Bari Sheikh and Jahangir Hossain.
