Six sound grenades recovered from near SC gate

Police have recovered six unexploded sound grenades from inside the boundary near the main gate of the Supreme Court on Sunday afternoon. The gate is usually used by the Supreme Court (SC) judges.

The devices were spotted lying on the right side of the gate at around 1:30pm.

Khokan Miah, Inspector (Operations) of the Shahbagh Police Station, said that CCTV footage is being examined to identify those responsible, as police launched an investigation to determine who attempted to create panic at the entrance used by the judiciary's top administrative official.
