Sk Kamal\\\'s 65th birthday today

The 65th birth anniversary of Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be observed today (Tuesday), reports UNB.

Sheikh Kamal was the founder president of country's leading sports club Abahani Krira Chakra and a founder member of Dhaka Theatre.

Awami League and its associate bodies have chalked out a daylong programme to observe the day in a befitting manner.

The programmes include placing wreaths at Sheikh Kamal's portrait on Abahani Club compound at 8am and offering doa at his grave at Banani at 9am.

Besides, Jubo League will hold a discussion at its office at 10am to mark the day.

In a statement on Monday, Awami League general secretary and LGRD Minister Syed Ashraful Islam urged all leaders and activists to observe the day in a befitting manner.
