SL leader stabbed to death

A local leader of Swechchhasebak League has been stabbed to death at Keraniganj on the outskirts of the capital, reports bdnews24.com. Ansar Uddin, Keraniganj Upazila unit president of the Awami League's associate voluntary body Swechchha-sebak League said Wednesday that the victim, Robi Hossain (37), was the assistant secretary of the unit. Robi was stabbed to death in front of Amritapur Sunrise Kindergarten in the early hours, said police and suspected that land disputes might be the reason behind the killing. The body of Robi has been sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College for an autopsy, he said.
