Speaker meets President

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Sunday, reports UNB.
During the meeting, the Speaker apprised the President of the activities of the Jatiya Sangsad, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told the news agency.
The Speaker invited the President to an Iftar party to be held on July 7 on the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban premises.
Chief Whip ASM Feroz, whips Atiur Rahman Atik and Mahabub Ara Begum Gini and secretaries concerned to the President office were present during the meeting.
