Steps soon to keep prices of essentials at tolerable level

GOPALGANJ, Sept 26 (BSS): Commerce Minister Faruq Khan today said necessary measures would be taken to keep prices of essentials at the buying capacity of common people.
He said this while visiting Durga Puja mandaps at Maksudpur Upazila of the district.
Faruq said legal actions would be taken against the businessmen who had been involved in increasing prices of sugar during the holy month of Ramadan so that nobody was encouraged to do the same.
