Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) president Hasanul Haq Inu, also the information minister, said on Friday that his party would continue the struggle for establishing socialism, reports BSS.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the Conference and Council 2018 of Jatiya Sramik Jote, the labor front of his party Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal.
The minister expressed solidarity with the demands of the labour leaders who had demanded formation of a Wage Commission for labourers.
Hassanul Haq Inu said, "Establishing socialism we can attain peace and prosperity, build militants-free society."
He said that the fruits of independence must reach every household in the country. "The poor should have access to adequate food, health and other amenities of life."The slums should be replaced by multi-storey buildings," he added.
He emphasised continuing the battle against Razakars, militants at the meeting of the labour.
"Socialism is our creed; and it is the only way that can liberate the working class from wage slavery" he said.
JSD president Inu urged labour to fight for socialism and unite under it's banner there. Mr Inu hoped they would achieve their goals.
He reminded the audience that the country was liberated to create an exploitation-free secular society and he appealed to his audience to join the struggle for achieving the equal society.
