SYLHET, Jan 1 (UNB) : Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury, who was sent to jail on December 30 in the former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria murder case, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Thursday.  Sources said Ariful Haque, also a BNP central leader, was taken to Dhaka Central Jail from Habiganj jail after he complained of chest pain at the dead of night.
Later, he was admitted to the DMCH Coronary Care Unit around 4:00 am, said Mozammel Haque, in-charge of the DMCH police camp.  On December 30, a Habiganj court sent Ariful Haque to jail, rejecting his bail prayer in the Kibria murder case.
