The Truth and Accountability Commission (TAC) Monday heard pleas of eight corrupt individuals who have applied for clemency in return for their ill-gotten wealth, reports UNB.
According to TAC sources, those who were heard are employees of Titas Gas and Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. The amount of money pledged by them in return for clemency is not significant.
With the day's hearing, TAC has now heard the clemency pleas of 128 corrupt individuals.
The Commission is scheduled to hear seven more today (Tuesday).
