JESSORE, Feb 12 (BSS): Awami League (AL) joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif said here today that dialogue could be held if BNP takes responsibility of killing people by petrol bombs.
"But, BNP claims that they didn't hurl petrol bombs. Then there is no benefit in holding dialogue with them. In that case dialogue can be arranged with those ghosts, who were responsible for petrol bomb attacks, not with BNP-Jamaat," he said while speaking as the special guest at the triennial council of Jessore District AL held at local Eidgah Maidan.
Calling upon the members of the civil society, Hanif said, "Don't propose to hold dialogue with BNP to cover up the misdeeds of BNP-Jamaat. Tell BNP first to take responsibility of killing of people. Only then the government will work out its plan of action in this connection."
