Tarique Rahman mourns death of ex-MP Mannan

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of four-time Member of Parliament (MP) Abdul Mannan Talukder of Sirajganj-3 (Raiganj-Tarash) constituency, reports BSS.

In a condolence message, he said Abdul Mannan was well-known as a popular leader in his area.

"He deeply believed in the principles and ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam and Bangladeshi nationalist philosophy," said Tarique Rahman.

The BNP Acting Chairman said Mannan worked dedicatedly to organise and strengthen BNP in Sirajganj region.
