Tarique remanded for five days

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's (CMM) court granted Monday five days' remand to Tarique Rahman, elder son of former prime minister Khaleda Zia, reports bdnews24.com.
Magistrate Sultan Mahmud granted the remand prayer for questioning Tarique in two extortion cases.
Police appealed for a seven-day remand in the case filed by businessman Khairul Bashar. The court however ordered a three-day remand.
It also allowed another two-day remand in another extortion case filed by businessman Harun Ferdousi.
Tarique was produced before the court at 12:10pm.
