State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam Thursday described BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman's recent remarks as rubbish, reports UNB.
"He has constantly been making such claims what his father had not claimed when he was alive. I can only say what he is constantly doing and claiming is nothing but madness," he told reporters at a press conference at the Foreign Ministry.
When sought comment on Tarique's current status and remarks he is making in different countries, Shahriar Alam said it is nothing but waste of time to talk about Tarique Rahman.
Tarique, addressing a discussion at Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur Wednesday, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina should be questioned on remand to unfold the mystery of the assassination of his father late president Ziaur Rahman.
