Tarique\\\'s remark on Bangabandhu protested at JU

Pro-government teachers' fraction of Jahangirnagar University (JU) under the banner of 'Bangabandhur Adorsha O Muktijoddher Chetonay Bishwashee Progotisheel Shikkhak Samaj' Saturday protested the remarks of BNP Senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman on father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, reports BSS.
In a statement the teachers said, 'Tarique Zia is trying to distort the history by misleading comments on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Hasina'.
Mentionable, BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman, at a meeting at the Westminster Hall in London recently, claimed that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman became prime minister 'illegally' in 1972.
