Charge hearing against Arafat Rahman Koko, younger son of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, in tax evasion case will be held by the sessions judge's court of Dhaka on November 20, reports UNB. It was scheduled Tuesday but Koko's counsel submitted that a writ challenging validity of the case was pending in the High Court and sought to defer the charge hearing until disposal of the writ. Koko was accused by the NBR in a case filed in March last year when he was out of the country of dodging income tax of nearly Tk 2.44 million during the BNP regime.
