Those committed war crimes have no right to call hartal: Ranga

State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives M Moshiur Rahman Ranga said Thursday those who had committed war crimes and violated human rights during the War of Liberation have no ethical right to call hartal, reports BSS.

"I urge all to resist them (Jammat-Shibir) socially and politically," he said while speaking at a discussion in the capital.

Asian Human Rights and Cultural Foundation organised the discussion at the Jatiya Granthagar auditorium in the city.

Presided over by the foundation secretary general Salam Mahmud, the discussion was also addressed by Redwan Khandakar and M Forkan Ali Hawladar, among others.

Later, the state minister chaired the review meeting on the progress of the ongoing development programmes of the rural development and cooperative division at the secretariat.
