Those in politics must suffer, says her mother

DINAJPUR, Sept 3 (bdnews24.com): Khaleda Zia's mother, Tayeba Majumder expressing her reaction to the arrest of her daughter Monday said: "Those who do politics have to suffer imprisonment and repression."
"Leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sheikh Sahib also went to jail", she told the news agency.
Asked to comment about the role of the present government she said, "Maybe whatever the government is doing is for the good. But I want the law to take its own course."
Tayeba Majumder gave her reaction Monday noon at her house at Balubari here. However, the ailing Tayeba could not talk for long.
She said she had heard the news of her daughter's arrest in the morning.
