Three DU students expelled for six months

Dhaka University (DU) authority temporarily expelled Thursday three students for six months for their involvement in vandalism on the campus.
The students were held accountable for ransacking different hall and provost offices and guest room on July 26 in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall, a DU press release said.
The students are SM Sakib Hossain of Islamic Studies, Mozammel Hoque of Philosophy and Abdur Rahman of History departments.
Among them Sheikh Sohail Hossain, student of the department of History, was asked to show cause within seven days otherwise, the university authority would take legal steps against him.
